Benefits

Revitalize Your Lawn: The Impact of Insect Control
  • Controlling insects like grubs, chinch bugs, or sod webworms prevents them from damaging grass roots, stems, or blades, keeping your lawn lush and green.

  • Many lawn pests, such as aphids or beetles, can carry or encourage plant diseases. Managing these insects helps maintain a disease-free lawn.

  • A pest-free lawn looks better—free of bare patches, yellowing, or wilting caused by insect infestations, boosting curb appeal.

  • Preventing insect damage reduces the need for costly repairs or extensive lawn treatments later, making maintenance easier and more cost-effective.

Sod Webworm

Sod Webworms, the second most common lawn pest, consume grass blades. They are named for their silk-like material production and cause grass to appear scalped in affected areas

Army Worm

Armyworms, measuring 1.5-2 inches in length, travel in groups and quickly consume food sources like lawns, leaving behind large yellow patches that resemble areas flattened by heavy machinery. As they continue to develop, these pests eventually metamorphose into moths.

Bill Bug

Bill Bugs primarily target Kentucky Bluegrass, with secondary attacks on Perennial Ryegrass and Fescue. Slightly larger than chinch bugs, adults measure 3/8 inches and have a black or brown weevil appearance with a long snout.

Chinch Bug

Chinch bugs are small pests, only 1/8 inch long, that pierce grass blades to drain moisture and leave toxins, often misidentified as lawn disease. Proper identification of lawn damage is essential, so consult trained experts to effectively address dead patches.

Grub Control

Effective Grub Control, Keep Your Grass Green

Grub lava feed on grass roots, leading to patches of wilted or dead turf, resulting in a patchy brown lawn. To avoid this issue, Grub Control is applied in the summer to stop eggs from developing into destructive larva that feed on grass roots. This preventative measure is crucial before the larva stage to maintain a healthy lawn. Grub Control will be administered during Application 3 of our Lawn Care Program.
